Powerhaus’ portfolio combines scale potential in Argentina with exposure to Canada’s globally recognised Athabasca Basin. The Company’s Argentinian assets are located across Chubut and Santa Cruz provinces, while Hidden Bay is positioned on the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan.

The portfolio encompasses uranium exploration for regional-scale roll-front systems and near-surface calcrete-hosted uranium in Argentina , together with basement-hosted targets in Canada’s Athabasca Basin.

Why Argentina

Powerhaus’ Argentinian portfolio covers approximately 3,360 km² across Chubut and Santa Cruz provinces, targeting uranium systems within the Golfo San Jorge Basin and surrounding areas.

The Company’s focus is the Tertiary Salamanca Formation — a sequence of permeable estuarine sandstones that shares key geological characteristics with Kazakhstan’s major sandstone-hosted uranium provinces, where regional uplift drove oxidising groundwater through thick permeable sediments to create large-scale redox-front uranium systems. Alongside this deeper roll-front potential, the portfolio includes near-surface calcrete-hosted and sandstone-hosted uranium targets across multiple project areas.

Three uranium target styles in Argentina

Powerhaus is targeting three uranium exploration styles across its Argentinian portfolio, providing multiple potential pathways to discovery.

Sandstone-hosted roll-front uranium

Powerhaus is targeting redox roll-front uranium systems within favourable sandstone horizons. These systems may be amenable to in-situ recovery where geology, hydrology, mineralisation and regulatory approvals support that pathway.

Calcrete-hosted uranium

Calcrete-hosted uranium is a near-surface uranium style that can occur in arid environments. Powerhaus considers parts of its Argentinian portfolio prospective for calcrete-style uranium mineralisation.

Near-surface sandstone-hosted uranium

Near-surface sandstone-hosted uranium may represent remnants of eroded roll-front systems or uranium mineralisation exposed closer to surface.

Why Canada

The Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan is one of the world’s most significant uranium districts, hosting some of the highest-grade uranium deposits ever discovered.

Hidden Bay is located on the eastern margin of the basin, approximately 20 km south-southwest of the historic Rabbit Lake uranium mine, where shallow sandstone cover and prospective basement structures provide a platform for systematic uranium exploration. Powerhaus has acquired 100% of the Hidden Bay Project.

Systematic exploration across multiple targets

Powerhaus’ exploration strategy is focused on generating, refining and testing priority uranium targets across its project areas. Work programs may include geological mapping, geochemical sampling, radiometric surveys, geophysical surveys and drilling, subject to approvals and exploration results.

  1. Review and generate
    Compile historical data, geological datasets, radiometric information and regional interpretations to identify areas of uranium prospectivity.
  2. Map and sample
    Undertake field mapping, surface sampling and radiometric surveys to improve geological understanding and prioritise targets.
  3. Define targets
    Use geological, geochemical and geophysical information to define targets for follow-up exploration.
  4. Test priority areas
    Advance selected targets through drilling and further technical evaluation, subject to approvals.

The Company seeks to plan and conduct field programs responsibly, with appropriate approvals, stakeholder engagement and compliance with applicable laws and permit conditions.
